Our Story

Inspired by the values of Arts & Craft Movement of the 1800’s, Fable Industries designs and produces handcrafted goods, including journals and quilts. Each product is thoughtfully considered in its design, selection of material, and receives individual attention in its production.

Fable Journals are constructed from fine melton wool, adorned with hand screened folk-inspired graphics. The final touch is a Fable stamp, bearing the designer’s personal mark. Fable quilts, ranging in size from crib to queen, as well as custom dimensions, are handmade from the finest of cottons to ensure comfort and durability. The quilts adopt modern colour palettes and compositions that refresh the traditional textile form.

The Fable workshop is located in a small space surrounded by a calm, quiet countryside - five minutes outside of Steveston (Richmond). There, the design and production take place, where the humble company can grow creatively and healthfully on grasses, trees, and fresh air.
